Necati Çetinkaya is Board Member
and Deputy Chairman (Electoral Affairs) of the
Justice and Development Party (AK Parti). On
November 3rd, 2002 he was elected as a member of the
Turkish Grand National Assembly, representing Elazığ.
He received
his B.S. degree in the Faculty of Law from the
Istanbul University. He worked as a Chief of Public
Administration, head official of a district,
deputy-vice undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour,
Provincial Police Chief of Hatay and Giresun, Deputy
Police Chief, Governor of Ordu, Konya, the state of
emergency region, Bursa and Manisa. He was elected
as an MP representing Konya in the 20th,
and Manisa in the in the 21st terms of
the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
In the TGNA,
he worked as the Head of the Commissions of Justice
and Internal Affairs, member of Foreign Affairs
Commission, Head of the South Africa-Turkey
Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Commission and Vice
Chairman. of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation
Parliamentary Assembly
He was born in 1943 (Elazığ). He is married and has
four children.
