İdris Naim Şahin is Co-founder, Board Member and
Secretary General of the Justice and Development
Party (AK Parti). On November 3rd, 2002 he was
elected as a member of the Turkish Grand National
Assembly, representing İstanbul.
He received his B.S. degree in
the Faculty of Law from the Istanbul University.
Was the head official of different districts all
around Turkey. He was Vice General Secretary and
Adviser to the Mayor in the Municipality of
Istanbul, between the years 1994 and 1998. He was
General Coordinator of the Municipality of
Adapazarı.
Mr. Şahin was born in 1956
(Ordu). He is married and has six children.
