Huseyin TANRIVERDİ was born in Manisa/Kula in 1956. He completed his elementary school education in Kula, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep.
He started his trade union works when he established Hizmet-Is Trade Union. During his 23 years of unionist carier, he has worked as The President of Hizmet-Is and The Vice President of HAK-IS Confederation and in other several administration positions.
Mr. TANRIVERDI has also worked in couple of NGOs has participated to ILO (International Labor Organization) Conferences in GENEVA for many years.
He has published two books which are called, “Standards of International Working Lives and Truths of Turkey” and “Truths of Turkey from the view of Trade Unions” He also has several published articles on Local Government.
He was elected elected as an MP (Member of Parliament) from the City of Manisa at the General Election. Which was held on 03 November 2002.
Mr. TANRIVERDI is a Member of Health, Family and Social Work Commission at The Grand National Assembly Of Turkey (TBMM). He has contributed to the formation of the new legislations on Social Security Reforms and the other legislation that are related with working life, labor law and social structure.
He has established Turkey-Palestine Friendship Group at The Grand National Assembly Of Turkey (TBMM).
Mr. TANRIVERDI has been elected for AKP’ Decision and Administration Committee at the 1st and 2nd Ordinary Great Congress of AKP (Justice and Development Party)
He has again elected as an from the City of Manisa. 23rd term General Election Which was held on 22 July 2007. He has been appointed as an AKP Deputy General Secretary Which is responsible from the Local Administrations.
Mr. Tanrıverdi is married and has two children.
