Nükhet Hotar Göksel is Board Member and Deputy
Chairman (Social Affairs) of the Justice and
Development Party (AK Parti). On November 3rd, 2002
she was elected as a member of the Turkish Grand
National Assembly, representing İzmir.
She received her B.S. at the
Economic and Administrative Sciences Faculty of
Dokuz Eylul University. Following her undergraduate
studies, she has pursued her academic career, and
received the title of ‘Professor’. She worked as the
Labour Economics Department Chair at the Faculty of
Economics in the Dokuz Eylül University.
Mrs. Göksel is a member of the
Board of Directors of the Turkey-EU Relations
Association, Deputy Chairman of the Civil Thought
and Democracy Action Association, and Local Agenda
21 Consultation Board member.
Mrs. Göksel was born in 1961
(Malatya). She is married with one child.
