Basic Rights and Freedoms

We see all civil and political liberties, particularly the freedom of thought, expression, belief, education, association and enterprise, as a precondition of peace and conciliation. We consider the application of all these freedoms as an indispensable condition of transforming Turkey into a big hope for everybody, where they will be confident of their future.

Public Administration

Our Party will transform our State, which is too big and has a clumsy structure, into a powerful and functional State with the objective of achieving efficiency and effectiveness and rendering of quality services. Decentralization is the basis of our philosophy of administration. In this context, after coming to power we improved public reform that enables decentralization and power transfer to local administrations.

We have a philosophy of administration that doesn’t create difficulties but facilitates solutions, that doesn’t reject but embraces, that doesn’t divide but unites, that protects the rightful weak from the wrongful powerful and that can stand erect.

Economic Policy

We take human beings as the source and objective of economic development.

We favor a market mechanism that works with all its rules and institutions.

We adopt the principles that the State should not be involved in any kind of economic activity.

We define the economic function of the state as regulatory and supervisory. We believe that economic stability will be achieved by growth to be achieved by investments. We will support investments that will increase employment.

Social Policy

Seeing the government as the means to serve the people, our Party will follow policies that will provide welfare and happiness to all our citizens, not just to a particular class or segment.

Educational Policy

According to our Party, education is the most important element of development in every field. Societies that do not employ human capital effectively are doomed to lose their chance to compete. For this reason our Party will give the first priority to educational investments in the allocation of public funds.

Social Security Policy

Our Party sees social security as a constitutional right and considers it incumbent upon the State to make this right accessible to every individual. Therefore, a social security policy befitting the philosophy of the social State will be developed within the scope of the Constitution.

Foreign Policy

Our Party will follow a realistic foreign policy that suits the history and geographical location of Turkey, free from prejudices and pre-conceived ideas. The foreign policy will be based on the principle of mutual interests.

It will re-define Turkey’s foreign policy priorities in the face of changing regional and global realities and will create a new balance between such realities and its national interests.
